This document applies to both The Impulse Company (UK) and The Impulse Company Australia. Any references to "The Impulse Company" refer to both The Impulse Company and The Impulse Company Australia unless otherwise specified.
You must be 18 years or over to participate in any course, class, or program unless a special case has been discussed with Scott (for UK participants only). In this event, parental consent must be given.
We regard lateness as a discourtesy to your fellow students and your tutor, and it is disruptive to the nature of the work.
Latecomers, no matter what the reason, will only be permitted to join the class at the break, which is generally at the halfway mark of the class.
If you choose to miss sessions, whether through paid work or for personal reasons, this will not normally affect your payment arrangements or entitle you to a refund or partial refund.
However, we will always take into account exceptional circumstances, provided these are agreed upon on an individual basis before your period of absence.
You will not damage or disrespect any property or items belonging to The Impulse Company and the venues we operate in. If so, you will be liable to repair or replace such property.
If you need to get in touch, please email erica@impulsecompany.org or you can text/call via WhatsApp on +61 (0) 401 054 194. Erica is based in Melbourne, Australia, so please bear occasional time delays in mind.
For UK participants, if your query is about the content or nature of the course, please raise it during class if possible or make an arrangement to speak with Scott.
Keep Erica up to date with any changes in your details.
Our conduct and suitability expectations are guided by principles set out in the Equality Act 2010, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These frameworks support our commitment to providing a safe, fair, and inclusive training environment for all participants.
Any review of a participant’s suitability for the training will be carried out with fairness, transparency, and respect, in line with our obligations under UK GDPR and the Equality Act 2010.
